Bangkok •• Nov. 2, 2002 •• SolarQuest® iNet News Service •• The e7 team for the Bhutan Micro Hydropower CDM Pilot Project met to plan its feasibility study mission on Saturday, November 2, in Bangkok. The team began by reviewing literature "Treading the Middle Path to Sustainable Development," anticipating travel to Bhutan, the country whose goal is Gross National Happiness.

After reviewing and revising the mission schedule, team members presented information about their respective areas of expertise and discussed site visit requirements.


This map shows the village of Chendebji in relationship to Thimphu, the national capital and Trongsa, the nearest town where the mission team will be staying during the site survey. To the west of Chendebji is Rukubji, where a 40 kw micro Hydro plant is in operation.
